Walter Pierz joined Northwestern Mutual as a Financial Representative Intern in 1987 while attending Salve Regina University, and in 1989 he elected to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a full-time Financial Representative. Seven years later, Walter’s interest in management sparked his involvement in the recruitment and development of Financial Representatives as a Field Director. In 1999 Walter Pierz was appointed Managing Director of The Wilton Financial Group. Since 2014, Walter has found his new home as a Financial Advisor at Northwestern Mutual Fairfield.

Walter Pierz honors his commitment to clients by continually developing his professional acumen through professional education and development opportunities in order to optimize his value as a resource. He also strives to select and develop first-rate Financial Representatives whose focus is to consistently provide the best that they and Northwestern Mutual have to offer. Excellence and commitment are his primary guiding principles.


Walter Pierz is a former Vice President for the Society of Financial Professionals – Fairfield County Chapter. He also is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Walter Pierz has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU™) professional distinction, the highest level of studies in the life insurance profession.
